My Story
My journey to precision agriculture hasn't followed a traditional path, but every step has prepared me for where I am today.
For more than a decade, I built a career leading culinary and foodservice operations, serving as an executive chef and foodservice director in healthcare and independent schools. Throughout my career, I developed a passion for leadership, problem-solving, operational efficiency, and sustainability. Those experiences taught me how to analyze complex challenges, make data-driven decisions, and continually improve processes—skills that translate directly to modern agriculture.
While my career centered on food production, my interests have always extended beyond the kitchen. I've long been passionate about science, agriculture, environmental stewardship, and the technology that is transforming the way we produce food. That passion ultimately led me to precision agriculture.
Today, Jay-Bird’s Precision Ag combines my background in science, sustainability, technology, and operations with a commitment to providing practical precision solutions throughout Northeast Ohio. From agricultural fields and pastures to difficult terrain, specialty properties, and other areas where conventional equipment may not be the right fit, my goal is to use technology to improve application accuracy, reduce unnecessary inputs, and solve real problems in the field and on the property.
Whether through aerial application, scouting, mapping, or precision-management support, I believe better information and the right equipment can improve results while protecting the land and surrounding environment for future generations.

As an active beekeeper and advocate for responsible land stewardship, I understand the importance of balancing effective application with environmental responsibility.
